ReplyDeleteI do my best to enjoy me time when my kids head out to school. Sit back with a cup of coffee and read a magazine. Sometimes I even enjoy glass of wine in the evenings watching my shows.

ReplyDeleteSet the alarm for 10 - 15mins ahead of time and make sure we always leave our house 10min before we really need to...insures that we have lots of time ...as we live in the country and never now what we will come across on our travels.

DeleteI love reading, it's very relaxing, so I go to bed a little early to have the "me" time reading my book.
ReplyDeleteOnce the kids are tucked in for the evening, I try to take 30 minutes to do stretching and light weight-lifting, then a long hot shower! Does wonders to relax!

ReplyDeleteI take baths 2-3 times a week to relax and try to sneak in some sort of workout time each day for me.
ReplyDeleteI get up before the kids each morning so that I can enjoy a cup of coffee by myself.

ReplyDeleteFor me, I tell my hubby that I need time to run when he gets home from work so he has to watch the boys for a bit. He doesn't mind and I'm so happy about that.

ReplyDeleteIf I can get the two little ones down for a nap at the same time (they are two under 2) then I sit on the computer and have some me time while the oldest (11) is either at school or watching tv downstairs.
